Its A Wrap!
Every woman has a go-to hair style that she turns to in a crunch. Some of us have a couple. Well, I personally love a wrap when my hair won't cooperate with me, or when I run out of time to fix it. Heck, truth is, I just love this look bad hair day or not. It is all kinds of fierce!
Now, I realize this may not be for everyone, but there are so many variations and creative ways to style a head wrap that there is something for everyone. Don't believe me? Well, here are as as my Jamaican friend would call it "a trailer load" of wrap styles to inspire you. And me.
So Let's do this!
See what I mean? You know you can rock one of these. Just grab a scarf from your closet and work it!

Fashion - In The Nude!
Aha, got ya didn't I? No, not naked people....NUDE COLORS. I have always liked them, even before they became a runway trend. Long before. I am so happy that finally these beautiful colors are getting the recognition and respect they deserve!

Nudes are so sophisticated, smart and darn versatile. They are neutrals really.......and neutrals go with EVERYTHING. Who wouldn't want that? Nudes also come in so many different shades, there are no shortage of colors to keep you looking fabulous! I personally love peach, pinks and creme tones because they are most flattering to my complexion but there are so many other color variations.
One of the advantages of wearing nude colors is the fact that it can actually trick the eye. For example, if you wear nude shoes your legs look longer. The same is true for fingernail polish, your fingers appear to be more slender and longer than with more vibrant polish. Try it, it works!

Layering different nude shades and textures also can create the most romantic, feminine and couture look......which I personally adore. So go ahead, choose a shade that flatters your complexion and go nude this summer. You're gonna love it!

Bold & Beautiful Kitchen Color Inspiration
A few days ago my sister was debating which color palette she was going to put in her kitchen. As always I offered my favorite colors for consideration but she kinda stopped listening when I suggested mauve. She wasn't feeling it......and I get it. I love colors that are a bit unusual. NOT weird but a little different. Anyway, that conversation led to this post. I just had to find a few like minded individuals who threw color caution to the winds.
I love a white kitchen but sometimes there is nothing like a pop of color to add some spice in the kitchen. Can I get a Amen! Here are a few of my favorites. What do you think?

Seafoam Green - Fun. Fresh. Fabulous.
To say I love sea foam green is a gross understatement. I looooooooooooooooove this color. Passionately. There are so many reasons why but here are a few:
Sea foam Green Is
. Fresh and feminine
. Perfect combination of both blue (cyan) and green....and I love both colors.
. Bold and serene at the same time
. Looks great on all skin tones
. Works excellently with warm colors like reds, yellows, oranges etc.
. Is a very peaceful and tranquil color
. Happy without being overly bright and reminds me of Spring
. As it's name implies, sea foam green is the color of the sea
. Has a history of sophistication and grandeur but also has a strong modern appeal as well
. Is perfect as a neutral color
. Very versatile, looks gorgeous in a glamorous setting and equally as nice in a casual
atmosphere.
. Romantic
This spring I was pleasantly surprised and siked to see that finally, this color is getting the recognition it deserves. Pantone declared it one of it's hot colors for Spring which is great but I could care less. I would wear it anyway even if it was not "in". Just sayin. This color is fabulous, chic and I personally never tire of it.......but that's me and as you can see I am totally smitten. What do you think?

Stay Calm And Carry On With Turquoise
When I think of Turquoise, I picture the color of the ocean mingled with the colors of the sky. This is one of the reasons why this color excites me so much.

As we all know, Turquoise is not only a color, it is also a precious gemstone. One that is well respected for its longevity and various healing properties throughout the ages. Turquoise calms, invigorates the spirit and makes us feel happier!
This color is fresh, elegant and is believed around the world, and especially in the Native American culture to bring good fortune, protection and blessing to the wearer. Turquoise is also recognized as a symbol of friendship which makes it a wonderful gift to give or receive.
